Installation of 20 new hives at the Brooklyn Grange Apiary on the roof of Building 292 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, April 2013. Packing up some prints for an upcoming group show: "Wider than a postcard" at the Breeze Block Gallery in Portland, Oregon. I was invited by curator Sven Davis, director of the online arts magazine Arrested Motion, to produce 3 traditional postcard sized images loosely exploring the themes of place and belonging. The photographs I chose were all taken in Hong Kong and are printed directly onto aluminum. The exhibition opens Thursday May 2nd 2013, with a preview evening the night before on Wednesday May 1st 2013 and will run till June 1st.
